PSA: My bathroom mirror moment changed how I view toner for dry skin
I think most toners do more harm than good for dry skin types, and skipping that step can actually help it heal.

Really disagree that toners mostly do harm. A good hydrating one can make a world of difference for my dry skin, and skipping it makes things way worse for me.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. My skin used to feel tight and rough until I tried a simple glycerin based toner. It's not about stripping anything, it's just another drink of water for my face. Skipping it now feels like missing a key step, everything else just sits on top of dry patches. Finding that one product changed my whole routine.

Hold up, it's more that a lot of classic toners are full of drying alcohol or harsh acids that wreck dry skin. The good ones for us are basically just extra layers of hydration, like with glycerin or hyaluronic acid. So skipping the bad ones helps, but finding the right hydrating type is the real game changer.
