Just found out my LED lamp is probably burning my clients

Was reading a study from last year that said most LED curing lamps lose power after 6 months and we never check them, I tested mine today and it was only putting out 60% of what it should. Has anyone else actually calibrated their lamp or are we all just guessing?

@grant_palmer you're smart to check monthly. I bought a little radiometer after reading the same study and my main lamp was putting out barely half power after eight months. The cheap testers might not be lab grade but they're better than nothing. I lost three gel polishes that were cured perfectly on the surface but never set underneath. That was the wake up call for me.

I bought a cheap tester on Amazon and check mine every month now.

My friend Sarah bought one of those cheap testers too. She tested her water and found out her pipes were leaching lead into her drinking water. She had to spend a bunch of money replacing the old pipes in her house. Now she's always telling people to test their water. She even bought testers for her whole family as Christmas gifts last year.
