I finally caught a client using at-home chemical peels before their appointment

Last Tuesday in Seattle, a regular came in with burns that looked like acid marks, and after 10 minutes of prodding she admitted to using a 30% TCA peel from Amazon two days earlier. Has anyone else dealt with clients hiding their home treatments right before facials?

Three of my regulars did the same thing last month... one had a full face of scabs she tried to cover with makeup. It's rough having to explain why their skin looks worse when they swore up and down they didn't do anything at home.

Man I feel this in my soul. Pretty sure half my face care routine is just trying to undo damage from the other half.
