Had a client today who made me rethink my whole extraction technique

She told me her last esthetician barely touched her face and got better results. I've been pressing too hard for 5 years without realizing it. Anyone else ever get called out on something you thought you were doing right?

I mean, is this really that deep though? You lightly touched someone's face for five years and got results everyone was happy with, so now you're having a crisis over one client saying you pressed too hard? Sounds like you just had a bad client who maybe expected something different, not a sign you need to throw out everything you know.

I used to think clients who complained about pressure were just being difficult. Then I had a regular come back from vacation and tell me someone else did a better job in half the time with half the pressure. Made me realize I was overcompensating for years because I thought deeper pressure meant better results. Took me a while to unlearn that habit.
