I finally fixed a sticky door call button at the mall food court

Was grabbing lunch at the Laketown Mall yesterday and saw the elevator call button was stuck again for like the 3rd time this month. Spent my break cleaning the contacts and adjusting the spring tension - been solid for 24 hours now lol. Anyone else have to deal with those moisture issues in high-traffic spots?

3rd time this month sounds like a humidity nightmare, especially with all the greasy air from the food court messing with the contacts. A little dielectric grease on the terminals after cleaning might help seal out the moisture longer.

Oh wow, is dielectric grease safe for the actual contact points though? I've always been told it can mess with the connection if you put it on the wrong part. Does it just go on the plastic housing around the terminals or right on the metal?
