I thought those new torque screwdrivers were just a gimmick for overthinkers

My foreman made me use one on a panel term job last week, and it actually stopped me from stripping out three lugs. Now I'm wondering what other 'fancy' tools I've been sleeping on. What's something you swore was useless but turned out to be a game changer?

My old boss had to force me to use a laser level for a month, and now I feel dumb for fighting it lol. @felix_thomas73 might be onto something with those digital angle finders.

Haven't seen anyone mention how much heat warps those digital displays? @felix_thomas73 I've had two angle finders crap out just from being near a hot weld zone. The LCD screens go all weird and start reading wrong. A good old speed square with a magnetic clamped level never lies though. Digital is nice til the battery dies mid-fit up.
