I finally stopped using wire nuts on everything after an old timer called me out
I had this foreman in Memphis tell me I was wasting time with wire nuts for all my connections and should switch to Wagos for lighting circuits. He watched me fumble with a tight box for like 5 minutes before he just handed me a lever nut and said try this. Has anyone else found a specific brand or type they swear by for certain jobs?

Amen to that. I had a similar thing happen on a service call where an old guy just laughed at me twisting wires in a can light box. He handed me a Wago and I never looked back. Lever nuts are a game changer for those tight spots where you want to throw the whole box out the window. I still keep wire nuts around for big stuff like 10 gauge and up but for lighting and switches its Wagos all day. The time you save alone makes it worth it, not to mention how much easier it is to troubleshoot later. Stick with the lever style though, the push ins are junk for anything that might get bumped.

Ha, yeah I was still twisting wires together like it was 1955 before someone set me straight too...
