Saw something at the new big box store on 50th Street that has me worried

Honestly, I was picking up some drywall mud there last Thursday and noticed they're selling a bunch of those cheap, no-name bathroom vent fans for like $49. Tbh, I pulled one off the shelf and the housing felt like it was made of paper-thin plastic that would melt if it ever got actually hot. Ngl, has anyone actually installed one of these and had it not be a total fire hazard waiting to happen?

But come on, you get what you pay for, right? For a small half bath or a rental unit, that fan just needs to move a little air for a few minutes. It's not like you're running it 24/7 in a steamy shower. Those things meet the basic safety codes to be sold, so how bad can they really be? Most homeowners are never going to shell out for a pro grade fan anyway, so this is better than having no vent at all. Isn't some air flow, even from a cheap unit, better than letting all that moisture just sit there and rot the walls?
