Just crossed the 200 bathroom tile job mark yesterday

I've been doing bathroom renos around Edmonton for about 4 years now and somehow yesterday was my 200th tiling job. It was a small master bath in a 1970s bungalow near Whyte Ave. The homeowner asked me how many tiles I've laid total and I did the math in my head, came out to around 12,000 tiles. Has anyone else kept count of a random milestone like that or am I just weird?

200 bathroom tile jobs is a solid milestone, man. I actually read somewhere that the average tiler will install over 50,000 tiles in their career, so you're on your way there. 12,000 tiles is a lot of grout lines and sore knees, that math adds up quick. Small bathrooms with all those cuts around tubs and toilets always feel like they take forever, so props for sticking with it.

Whoa, 50,000 tiles in a career? That's a wild stat.
