Watched a movie where the hero hotwired a truck in 10 seconds flat.

I drive a semi for a living and last week I had to show a buddy how to jumpstart my rig. It took us 15 minutes with the manual and a flashlight. Have any of you ever tried to hotwire something from 2006 and actually had it work like in the shows?

Man it's wild how TV just skips all the boring real stuff isn't it... makes you wonder what else they're oversimplifying.

Is it really oversimplifying though, @ellis.charles? Movies have to move fast or they'd be boring as dirt. If they showed us fumbling with wires for 20 minutes, nobody would watch.
