Was at a Motel 6 over the weekend and the TV logic hit different
I stayed at a Motel 6 in Omaha last Saturday and their TV was playing some crime drama. A detective walked into a room alone, no backup, and confronted a suspect who was clearly armed. Nobody in real life does that without calling it in first, right? But then again, shows need drama or they'd be boring. Which side do you fall on - do you prefer realistic police work or the thrill of a lone wolf detective?

Omaha has some sketchy Motel 6 spots too, last time I was there the remote was half duct taped together. Lone wolf detectives are fun but yeah, real cops would be radioing in "shots fired" before they even kicked the door.

real cops would be radioing" but they'd also be ducking behind a car, not a desk.
