That one scene where the hero fixes a car with a paperclip got me last week

I actually tried to patch a small hose leak on my truck with a paperclip and some duct tape like I saw on a show, and it blew off after 5 minutes and sprayed coolant all over my driveway. The show made it look like a fix that lasts forever, but real life pressure and heat just laughs at that stuff. Has anyone else wrecked something by copying TV repairs?

@sandra715 yeah mine left a nice green puddle too lol. next time just grab a proper hose clamp from any auto parts store, theyre like 3 bucks and actually hold up.

Did you end up with a green pool of coolant on your driveway too, or just me? I swear TV mechanics must have magic coolant that doesn't boil.
