Watched a crew in Nashville tape a whole house in 3 hours flat
I stopped by a job site last month in Nashville where a four-man crew was finishing a 2,500 square foot house. They were using that mesh tape and a pump sprayer for joint compound instead of the normal mud pan. Anyone here tried that spray method or am I just late to the party?

Sprayer method sounds like a gimmick to me honestly. I've seen enough slapdash work come out of "fast" crews that I'd take a 3 hour job with a big grain of salt. Faster ain't always better when you're talking about mud and tape that needs to dry proper.

Haven't they been using sprayers for texture work forever though? The real trick is getting the paper tape to stick right with wet mud on the wall instead of the old way.
