The weirdest thing I saw at a Home Depot drywall aisle

Stopped by Home Depot in Phoenix last week. Some guy was trying to return a single sheet of drywall that had a huge boot print right in the middle. Cashier just stared at him for a solid 10 seconds. Has anyone else seen people try to return obviously wrecked materials?
