Picked between wide knifes and a banjo for my first big house job
Had 2,000 sq ft of new construction drywall in Phoenix last month. Used a 12 inch knife for the first two rooms, but my wrist was killing me. Switched to a banjo for the rest and got it done in half the time. Any of you guys use the banjo full time or just for big flats?

Funny how that works. It's like with anything, you gotta find the tool that matches the job and your body. I see it all the time with people who pick the wrong tool for something simple and make it way harder than it needs to be. Banjo's your friend on big flats, no doubt.

1200 sq ft of flats in Gilbert last week with a banjo and it's the same story - your wrist will thank you later. It's funny how most people grab the wrong tool for everything in life, not just drywall.
