I finally counted up all the sheets I've hung in my career

It was over 10,000. That number hit me because I remember my first day, struggling with a single 12-foot sheet in a new build. Anyone else ever stop and figure out their own crazy total?

It's wild how those small, repeated tasks add up. I've seen it with miles driven for work or cups of coffee made. You don't notice the mountain until you stop and count all the little stones.

Exactly, @wade558, which is why tracking those small things for just one week can be a real eye-opener.

My old car's check engine light was on for months. I figured it was just a small sensor thing, no big deal. Then I started writing down every time it hesitated or stalled. After two weeks I had a full page of notes and finally took it in. The mechanic said all those little moments were actually one big problem getting worse. Tracking it made the pattern impossible to ignore.
