Man, that's the worst kind of feedback because it's usually right. I mean, I've been there where you get in a rhythm and start rushing the little things. For me, it was always the corners and seams that gave it away later, like you can see every shortcut you took. It's a good wake-up call to slow down a bit, even if it hurts to hear it.

Too fast and sloppy" is a tough one to hear. What part of the job do you think speed was hurting the most, the finish or the prep? That kind of feedback can be useful if you can pin down the exact problem.

Honestly @black.margaret, prep is usually what gets rushed first and it messes up the whole flow later on.
