Overheard a guy at the marina say his cutter head teeth were lasting 3 weeks now

Switched to a harder alloy after that tip from the old timer in Port Arthur. Cut my replacement schedule in half. Anyone else find a cheap trick that made a big difference?

Wait, THREE WEEKS on cutter head teeth? That's NUTS, I can barely squeeze a week and a half out of mine before they're toast.

@the_luna honestly THREE WEEKS is a miracle for me too, I just run my teeth so dull they basically become polishing stones before I bother swapping them.
