Walked into a shop in Denver and saw drafters using colored pencils again
I have been all digital for like 8 years now. But I walked into this small studio in Denver last month and the lead drafter was marking up a set of prints with Prismacolor pencils. She said it helped her catch things she missed on screen. Has anyone else gone back to analog for certain parts of their workflow?

Hold up, let's not get too carried about this. I mean good for her if colored pencils help her catch stuff, but there's no way that's a real trend worth jumping on. I've been all digital for years and I can zoom in, flip layers, and run clash detection in seconds. A pencil on paper is just slower and messier. Maybe she's just used to it from old habits or it's a mental trick, but I doubt it beats what you can do with a decent tablet and stylus these days.
