Vent: Senior drafter told me my line weights were all wrong
About 6 months ago a senior architect pulled me aside and pointed out my section cuts were way too heavy compared to the detail lines. He said it made the drawing look muddy and hard to read. I spent a weekend redoing my layer standards and now I use a 0.35mm pen for cuts and 0.18mm for regular lines. Has anyone else had a boss completely change how you draft annotations?

That whole "muddy" thing applies to everything, like how a cluttered room just feels wrong until you pare it down.

Big agree @jennifer_west, clutter CAN be muddy too.
