The number of people who don't calibrate their digitizers is wild

I keep seeing juniors skip the calibration step before tracing, and then they wonder why their vector lines are off by a sixteenth. It's the first thing my mentor taught me at the old city survey office. How do you even get through a day like that?

Did you see that post from a guy who said switching to a cheap tablet made him start calibrating for real because the drift was so bad? @julia286 is totally right though, I watched someone waste a whole morning on a bad trace and it made me want to pull my hair out.

Honestly drives me nuts. Watched a guy spend two hours fixing a property line because he traced without calibrating first. The whole sheet was basically useless. My old boss would have made us redo the entire day's work for that. Can't believe people skip it.
