Stick with the classic drafting board or switch fully to a tablet? I'm torn.

I've been drafting on a board for about 7 years now, doing all my initial sketches by hand before scanning them. Lately, my buddy at the shop in Denver switched to a drawing tablet full time and says he's cut his revision time by 30 percent. I tried his setup for a day and the precision felt off at first, but I could see how it might speed things up for big projects. On the flip side, I'm worried I'll lose that gut feel for line weight and spacing that comes from pencil on vellum. What did you guys choose if you made the switch, and did it mess with your accuracy for the first few months?

Nah you're not gonna lose the feel for line weight, it just moves from your wrist to your shoulder. The muscle memory transfers faster than you'd think, maybe a week or two of feeling clumsy.

Takes way longer than that for most people, wrist control is totally different from shoulder.
