Got a thumbs-up from the engineer on my latest layout
Was working on a floor plan for a new project. The engineer said it was clear and easy to read, which made my day. I used a new layer system to keep things organized.

My last project had 12 layers and it was the fastest I've ever worked. @verab28 has the right idea, good layers don't slow you down, they save you.

What kind of layer system did you set up? Getting that kind of feedback means your organization really worked. I always make separate layers for existing walls versus new ones, and another just for notes. It makes it so much easier to turn things on and off when you need to focus on just the electrical or structural parts.
