A client's offhand remark about a dimension string made me check my default settings
They asked why the callouts on my foundation plan were so 'busy', and I realized my CAD template was set to show fractions to 1/32 for everything. I'd been doing that for years, adding clutter where 1/16 or even 1/8 would have been fine. Anyone else have a default setting they changed that cleaned up their drawings a ton?

Actually, the fractions would have been set in the dimstyle, not typed out each time. But yeah, that default would still make a drawing look way too crowded.

Wait, so you were basically giving a tape measure an anxiety attack? I can't even imagine the tiny fraction soup on those drawings. How many years of extra clicks did you waste writing all those thirty-seconds? My old boss had our plotter set to neon green for all center lines, and we printed a whole stadium set before anyone said it looked like a radioactive spiderweb.
