Why does nobody talk about how bad caulk guns suck for tiling jobs

I was regrouting my bathroom last weekend and spent 20 minutes fighting a cheap caulk gun that kept dripping everywhere, has anyone else just switched to a squeeze tube for small repairs?

Man I feel your pain on those cheap caulk guns. I picked up one of those $3 ones from the hardware store last month for my kitchen backsplash and the plunger rod bent before I even got halfway through the first tube. Ended up with silicone smeared all over my grout lines and my hand cramped up trying to push it. The squeeze tubes are a game changer for small jobs though, I used one for a shower repair and finished in 5 minutes with zero mess. Definitely worth the extra couple bucks.
