Wasted $80 on a fancy paint sprayer only to realize a $12 brush works better for trim

I was dead set against using brushes for baseboards after watching some YouTube guru spray everything in his house. Bought a Wagner sprayer for $80 at Home Depot and spent 3 hours cleaning it after using it for 10 minutes. Turned out the splatter from the sprayer was worse than brush marks, and I had to sand half of it down. Anyone else fall for the sprayer hype and go back to the basics?

Used to be one of those people who thought paying someone else was throwing money away, @mila_mitchell. Then I spent a whole Saturday scrubbing old gum off a secondhand table I bought. That changed my tune real fast. Some messes are worth paying for.
