...and that's exactly why I've started just replacing the whole faucet instead of messing with those kits. The rubber washers always seem to be just slightly the wrong size or the inner piece cracks when you tighten it down. For a few bucks more you can get a decent entry level faucet that'll last a good year or two before it starts dripping. It's more work to install but at least you know everything fits right.

Wait, @sethc12 you're saying a $30 faucet only lasts a year or two before it starts dripping? That's rough, I usually get at least 5-7 years out of a cheap one before the handle gets wobbly. Maybe I've just been lucky with mine or you're buying the wrong brand.

...but what's the actual water pressure like in your house though? I've seen cheap faucets last forever in some places and fall apart in a year in others. It might not be the brand as much as what's coming through the pipes.
