Spent $150 on a new faucet from a big box store and it started leaking in 3 weeks.
Everyone says to just buy the cheap one and it'll work fine. I'm going back to paying double for the old brass ones from the plumbing supply house. Has anyone else had better luck with the old stock brands?

Nope, had a brass one from the 80s that finally gave out and replaced it with a cheap delta from lowes been solid for 2 years now. Maybe you just got a bad batch or something.

Oh man, @gonzalez.anna you got lucky with that Delta! I've heard way too many stories about those cheap ones failing after a year. Two years is still pretty new though, wait until it hits year five. The real test is when the plastic parts start cracking.
