My buddy spent 45 minutes troubleshooting a no-boot system and it was just a flipped PSU switch
Last night my friend calls me panicking because his new build won't turn on. Fans spin for half a second then die. He's checking cables, reseating RAM, the whole thing. I drive over and see the PSU switch is set to off (the O side). Flipped it to I and it booted fine. He felt like an idiot but I've done the same thing before. Why do power supply companies put those switches in such an easy to bump spot? Anyone else have a dumb simple fix that took way too long to find?

Flipping it to I for "idiot" is how I always remember it.

Saw a linguistics podcast mention that mnemonic devices like this actually help with dyslexia too. The whole flipping letters around thing makes your brain work differently than just memorizing rules. Heard some teachers use it in classrooms now.
