Found a fix for random shutdowns that took me 6 months to figure out

My Ryzen 5 machine kept crashing mid-game for half a year, swapped PSUs and RAM and nothing worked. Turns out the 24-pin cable was just slightly loose, reseating it fixed everything. Anyone else had a dumb simple fix like this after chasing the wrong problem for months?

Honestly, that's brutal. Did you ever try just wiggling the cable before you got to swapping the PSU?

My buddy Mike had an old Dell that would black screen randomly, and he was about to put a new power supply in it too. Turns out he spent three hours fighting with it before just jiggling the HDMI cable at the back of the monitor, which fixed everything. He still won't admit he wasted a whole afternoon over a loose connection.

Did you try that @leo_campbell mentioned, or just jump to the big fixes?
