Tried a dremel vs a jigsaw for cutting my side panel window last weekend

I was cutting out a window for tempered glass in this old Corsair 400R and figured my dremel with a cutoff wheel would be fine for the steel side panel. After 20 minutes of burning through discs and getting wobbly cuts, I borrowed my neighbor's jigsaw and finished the whole thing in 5 minutes with way less mess. Has anyone else dealt with picking the wrong tool for a case mod and regretted it?

Dremel's better for tight curves, jigsaw just takes the easy way out.

Wait, you really think a jigsaw can't handle tight curves?

Tried that on a friend's scroll saw, smoked the motor in 10 minutes.
