Took me 8 tries to get my custom side panel window straight

I was using a dremel to cut acrylic for a window on my old Corsair case and kept chipping the edge. Eight different cuts and two ruined sheets of acrylic later I finally realized I needed a higher speed setting and a clamp. Anyone else burn through way more material than they planned on a simple mod?

Man I felt that in my bones. I went through three sheets of acrylic and a full afternoon trying to get a clean cut on my Define R5 side panel. The chipping was driving me crazy, I had little cracks all along the edge and the final piece looked like I cut it with a butter knife. What finally saved me was using a brand new blade on my jigsaw with painters tape and going super slow. Eight tries is rough though, I bet your hands were cramping up and you were about ready to throw the whole case out the window. But when it finally works and you get that clean straight edge it's like a weight lifts off your shoulders. Good on you for sticking with it.

Took me forever too man, higher speed and painters tape along the cut line saved my sanity.
