Saw a weathered old pc case at a flea market last weekend
I was digging through a pile of junk at the Spokane flea market and found an old beige tower with a hand-painted dragon on the side panel. The paint job was actually really clean, like someone used stencils and took their time with a brush instead of a rattle can. Has anyone here tried using paint markers or stencils for a case design and had them hold up over time?

...and that reminds me of this one time I tried to airbrush a tribal design on my old Cooler Master case back in 2008. Looked awesome for about three weeks until the clear coat started peeling off in these weird little flakes. Paint markers though, I've seen some guys use those Posca pens on their builds and they swear by it, especially if you lay down a good primer first. The hand-painted stencil thing probably lasts longer than you'd think if they sealed it with something like a matte acrylic varnish - most folks skip that step and then wonder why their art looks like garbage after six months.
