Picked up a cheap heat gun from Harbor Freight, turns out it's perfect for bending acrylic

@sanchez.mia nailed it, cheap tools have a way of surprising you. That Harbor Freight heat gun is actually one of their hidden gems, I've had mine for like three years now and it still works fine. Just go slow with the acrylic and keep the gun moving or it'll bubble on you. A little tip for anyone trying this, use a scrap piece of wood as a bending jig so you get clean 90 degree angles every time.

Man that's actually a solid find, cheap tools can surprise you sometimes. I picked up one of those $15 ones for stripping paint and ended up using it for way more stuff than I expected. Bent some acrylic for a little shelf project and it worked way better than my expensive one from the hardware store.
