My flush cutter slipped and took a chunk out of my motherboard tray last night

I was clipping off a zip tie inside my mini ITX build and that tool nicked the powder coat, now I am looking at a silver scar right where the GPU goes, how do you guys fix paint chips on painted steel without a full respray?

Dab some rustoleum appliance epoxy on a toothpick and fill the chip carefully. Let it cure fully before putting the GPU near it. That stuff bonds tight enough to hold up against scratches from sliding hardware in and out.

My cousin tried that same Rustoleum epoxy on a scratched PCIe slot once and it held up fine for over a year before he upgraded the whole board. He said the key is waiting the full 24 hours cure time especially if the room is cold or damp where you're working. The stuff smells pretty strong too so you gotta have a window open or work outside. I've seen guys use superglue and baking soda for quick fixes but that epoxy is way better if you want it to last more than a few months.
