Hot take: full dust filters on every intake are overrated
I skipped the dust filters on my scratch build last winter, and after six months of gaming in my dusty basement in St. Louis, I pulled the side panel and found barely any buildup inside, so what's the actual point of choking airflow with those things?

Wait, hold on - you're in a dusty basement and you didn't use filters?! My dude, I set up a test rig in my own garage for like three weeks once and the inside of the case looked like a lint trap. Your mileage may vary but I feel like you either got super lucky or your basement isn't as dusty as you think. Maybe you have one of those newer cases with positive pressure that just shoves everything out the back? I don't know how else you'd avoid buildup unless you're running your system 24/7 and it's just blowing particles right through.

Honestly @paige870, that's fair, I used to think the same til I saw it myself.
