Hot take: I got lower temps after stopping undervolting my laptop

I know everyone swears by undervolting for cooling, but after 3 months of messing with ThrottleStop I actually saw my CPU hit 85C under load. Once I reset everything to stock and just cleaned the fans, I dropped to 72C instead. Has anyone else had worse luck with undervolting than just basic maintenance?

I swear undervolting is like that friend who says they'll fix your PC but just makes it worse lol. Cleaned my fans once and got better results than 3 weeks of tweaking ThrottleStop

Haha yeah I feel that. I spent a week messing with undervolt settings and got nothing but crashes, then just cleaned out the dust and suddenly my temps dropped 10 degrees. Way simpler fix.
