My dad insisted I needed a 4-foot level for tiling my bathroom floor
I thought my 2-foot level was fine, but after laying the first few tiles in my Atlanta bathroom, the slope was obvious and I had to pull them up. Renting the longer level for a day cost me $22 and saved the whole project. Has anyone else had a simple tool tip completely save a job?

Oh totally, that funhouse mirror effect is brutal and a long level is the only way to lock those tiles down flat.

Oh man, that slope will get you every time. Good call renting the longer level (even though it stings a little to pay for a tool). Honestly, a 4-footer is kind of the minimum for floors.

Totally, I once tried to wing it with a short level and the whole floor ended up looking like a funhouse mirror.
