Used to swear texture pack mods were a waste of time for Skyrim, but after a buddy forced me to try the Cathedral pack I could actually see leaves on trees for the first time in 500 hours
I was so sure they just ate up VRAM for no gain, but now I cant believe I played that long looking at blurry mud blobs for grass.

Wait, are you saying being able to see individual leaves is actually gonna change how you play the game? I put 200 hours into Oldrim with the default 2K textures and honestly, I never felt like i was missing anything important. The game still looks pretty good to me, lol. Unless you're literally stopping to take screenshots of every single bush, I feel like you'd barely notice the difference once you're actually running around fighting dragons.
