Tried hex editing a save file for Fallout 4, ended up breaking the weather system for 3 days straight

I was just trying to give myself an extra point in lockpicking, but somehow I accidentally set the game to perpetual radstorm. Everywhere I went it was green and thundering, even indoors. Has anyone else managed to bork something simple into something wild like that?

00 is usually just a flag, not a whole weather setting.

Makes sense. I once confused that flag for the weather itself. Spent an hour trying to calibrate my sensors for a '0' and 'another 0' condition.
