Serious question, why does EVERY texture pack I download have a broken inventory screen?
I spent 3 hours last night trying to fix the hotbar in a Skyrim texture replacer from Nexus. The icons were all misaligned and I couldn't even see my health bar. Has anyone else run into this with mods that don't even change the UI directly?

Bethesda games just hate UI mods if the load order isn't perfect. Try running the tool that sorts your mods automatically.

@johnfoster I always hear people say load order is super important but I've thrown mods together in the wrong order plenty of times and things still worked. Like I had a UI mod that changed the font and another that moved the map around and they both ran fine without any sorting tool. Maybe it depends on the specific mods you're using or your game version. But is it really that serious? Feels like half the time the issue is just a bad mod, not the order.

Sorting tools are usually pretty good... but I've had ones that broke things worse than they fixed. Which tool are you talking about specifically? LOOT or something else...?
