Tried to hang kitchen cabinets solo and almost lost a finger

Last fall I attempted to install my own IKEA cabinets in the kitchen. My neighbor Dave came over after hearing me yell and straight up told me I was gonna break my hand trying to lift a 60 pound upper by myself. He showed me how to build a simple T-brace out of 2x4s to hold each cabinet while I screwed it in. Whole job took half the time and zero trips to urgent care. Any of you ever try going solo on something heavy and regret it?
