Tried hanging new shelves in my kitchen in Denver and now I have a hole in the wall
I mean, it seemed simple enough. Just needed to put up two floating shelves above the counter. Got the brackets mounted, checked them with a level, everything looked good. Then I put the first shelf on and the whole thing just sagged and pulled out of the drywall. Now there's a fist-sized crater and my landlord is gonna see it next week. Anyone else have shelves just decide to give up on life mid-project?
