The time I tried to build a bookshelf and ended up with a leaning tower of plywood
I figured back in 2019 I'd save some cash and build my own bookshelf for the living room. Bought $60 worth of plywood and a new circular saw, watched like 3 YouTube tutorials. Cut all the boards wrong because I measured once instead of twice, so nothing lined up. Ended up stacking them all together with way too much wood glue and it leaned about 4 inches to the left. My wife still calls it the Leaning Tower every time someone visits. Has anyone else tried a furniture build that went totally sideways?

My buddy Mark tried building a desk and it wobbles so bad his coffee slides off.

Told Mark he should have just leveled the legs with some of those little plastic furniture pads instead of hoping it would settle. Ended up watching him chase a bubble level around for two hours while the desk rocked like a rowboat. Coffee slid off three times before he gave up and put a coaster under one corner. Now he just keeps the mugs in a drawer and drinks out of sippy cups instead.
