Appreciation post for my neighbor who fixed my fence after my post hole digger broke at 4 PM last Tuesday
I dug 3 holes before the handle snapped in half and then he just showed up with his auger and finished the other 7 in 45 minutes, has anyone else had a neighbor save a weekend project like that?

Get yourself a spare handle" - that's the part I keep coming back to. I'm on my second one already and I'm wondering @tarab54, how many handles have you gone through personally? Because I feel like I'm either doing something wrong or these things just don't last like they used to. The first one cracked on me right in the middle of a job, total pain. Is there a specific brand or style you've found that actually holds up better than the rest?
