My cable management guru friend swore that zip ties were the only way, but after rerouting everything for the 3rd time last night I think velcro strips are actually better for swapping gear out.

He said zip ties keep it clean forever but I had to cut 8 of them just to swap my monitor arm and now I'm on team velcro, who else has switched sides on this one?

My buddy Tim had to cut a dozen zip ties just to add a fan, total nightmare.

Changed my mind after snipping one too many zip ties myself, velcro just makes more sense for frequent swaps.
