Just spent $40 on a cable management tray and it kinda stinks
I saw this under-desk tray from some generic brand for $40 and thought it would hide all my cables easy. The thing is flimsy metal and the screws stripped after I tightened them twice. Now my cables are still a mess because the tray keeps sagging. Anyone find a tray under $50 that actually holds up without bending?

I went through three cheap trays myself before giving up and grabbing a simple metal wire shelf meant for the kitchen. Bolted to the bottom of my desk with some heavy duty zip ties and it's been holding up all my cables just fine for two years now. Cost me like 15 bucks at a hardware store. The trick is getting something with solid metal bars that won't bend, not those thin flimsy trays.

Bought one of those cheap plastic cable management boxes thinking it'd look clean. Worked great for like three weeks then the lid cracked and all my cables spilled out like a spaghetti monster. Still haven't figured out a permanent fix. You ever try using those velcro straps instead of a tray?
