Finally hit 50 feet of cable management tracks and it felt weirdly satisfying

I was reorganizing my desk last weekend and counted up all the cable management tracks I've installed over the last year... turns out I've used just over 50 feet of the stuff. That's like half a football field of plastic channels just to hide my monitor and keyboard cables. My wife walked in and asked if I was building a model railroad under my desk. Has anyone else ever added up how much cable management stuff they've got?

Velcro works fine till you have to move stuff around, tracks keep everything solid and clean.

I get the appeal but honestly 50 feet of cable tracks sounds like overkill to me. I've got maybe 10 feet total and my desk looks fine because I just bundle stuff with velcro ties behind the legs. Sometimes hiding every single wire just creates more plastic waste than it's worth.
