Bought a $10 pack of velcro strips at Target and my desk actually looks clean now

Was at Target last Saturday grabbing snacks and walked past the hardware aisle. Saw a 10 pack of velcro strips for $10 and thought why not. My desk was a mess of cables everywhere so I used them to stick my power strip under the desk and route all the cords along the frame. Took maybe 20 minutes total and now you can't see a single wire hanging down. The best part is they're reusable so if I move stuff around I just peel them off. Has anyone tried those cable raceway tubes or are velcro strips good enough for most setups?

Wait, are you sure those were $10 a pack? I picked up the same 10 pack at Target last week and it rang up at $7.49. Maybe the price varies by store or they changed it since then. Either way, Velcro strips are the way to go for cables. I tried raceway tubes before and they are a pain to install and look worse when you mess up the cut. The adhesive on them also peels off after a few months in my experience. Velcro lets you rearrange stuff whenever you want without buying new parts.

Raceway tubes are a pain, I'd stick with the velcro.
