Am I the only one who prefers adhesive cable clips over raceways?

I see everyone raving about those stick-on raceways but honestly they just collect dust and look bulky on my desk. I tried cheap adhesive clips from Amazon for $8 and they hold my cables flat against the leg with way less mess. Has anyone else found raceways more trouble than they're worth?
